SO after Derek and I got back from Chicago, we had the pleasure of spending the weekend with Derek's parents! We had the chance to show them the model home of our floor-plan and our land! So exciting to show off these things!
Friday we grilled out some beautiful filet mignons at our house and went over to Eddie Merlot's for dessert. Everybody had brandy alexander's while I had the most delizioso chocolate martini...yum!

After dessert we headed back to watch the OSU v. Kentucky game (
head hung in shame) There was not one ounce of me that thought OSU would lose this game! We had Brutsie all geared up for the game with his OSU jersey on:

All of us were excited and ready...and then all of the sudden they lost :( I really thought this was OSU's year to go all the way! Anyway, the best of luck to UK (that is only for my girl Emily, whom I talked pre-game smack to!) Even Mr. Bruts was so upset:

Even though the results of the game were not to our liking, the "cousins" had a BLAST playing together!
