Weekly House Update!

So are you ready for an update?!?!  Just to recap and jog your memory, I put together some little house-progress-photos for you!  So remember when it was just an empty lot back in February?  And then the hole was dug in late March and then 3 weeks later...well take a look for yourself!

All of a sudden there was a house!  Derek and I had our first "Ah, look at OUR home" moment once we saw the roof up with the windows and doors in!  It was so much fun to be able to walk through the framed rooms and go up-and-down our stairs!  As of yesterday, here is our house:

I'm sure you know: Picture of the outside

The master bedroom...don't worry the master bath tub will be moving outta here at some point ; )

A look at the living room / fire place from the kitchen

A look at the stairs and front door from the living room

We have our pre-drywall meeting at the end of the week!  So hopefully I'll have some more updates for you next week!

One of my friends custom built her home and she said it was the best decision she ever made in regard to real estate. This looks like another winner!

Progressive project, indeed! Building your own house can be very stressful, yet worth it, once you see the pieces coming all together properly. It has been years since the construction. Certainly, this house is all finished by now. I hope that things with you and your family are doing great!
