Happy Friday everybody. Was it just me or was this week the longest?! Anyway, on to the recipe. So a couple weeks back (before all the crazy scary stuff) it was my husband's birthday. His birthday happened to fall on a Saturday this year so I knew I wanted to make breakfast for my man! Well my sister makes a super delicious egg bake! I HAD to get the recipe to make for Saturday morning! I wanted to share the recipe (sadly I didn't take a picture!):
Ingredients:
- 1lb of sausage
- Onion
- Crescent Rolls (one tube)
- Green Pepper
- Any other veggie you love (tomatoes, mushrooms, etc.!)
- 4 eggs
- 4 TBLS Milk
- 1 Bag of Cheddar Cheese
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- Brown sausage and onion together
- Meanwhile, spray 10x17 oven safe baking dish w/non-stick cooking spray
- Roll out crescent rolls so it covers the bottom of your dish
- Layer sausage/onion mix, green pepper, and any other veggies over crescent rolls
- Mix eggs and milk
- Pour over veggies
- Bake 30 minutes (if glass)-45 minutes
- Pour cheese over top of egg bake
- Bake for 5-10 minutes until cheese is melted
Have a great weekend!
