Confessions!

Tomorrow is the last day to enter my giveaway so make sure you do it now!

So if you promise you won't think less of me...I'll tell you my confession.   I ran into my husband's car...

Ugh, I know!  I was so frustrated with myself after it happened! Let me give myself a little credit ok!  It happened the week we moved in (I know right!).  I was leaving at 5:30am to get to work.  I was sleep deprived and stressed out from moving, painting, and unpacking.  I have never had a garage before.  AND my husband had been parking his car out on the street since we moved here.  So at 5:30 in the morning, I pressed the garage door to open it, backed out (cough cough...without looking...cough cough), and ran right into my husband's car.

Of course his car is fine (they don't make 'em like they used to), but mine is an eye sore.  Yes, I am getting this fixed stat!  I have high hopes for myself that this will never happen again!  So please, if you think you have had a couple of "blonde" moments or "senior" moments lately, this should make you feel better right?!?!

And because I can't end the post on a sad note like that, I'll confess one of my favorite things about the house.  Whenever we go out to get the mail or move the water hose for the sod, Brutie is able to watch us from inside the house.  I tried to capture it with the camera today, but the screen made the pictures come out a bit unclear.  But I just love his little paws up on the window sill looking at what we are doing!

Hope you are having a good week!

Oh dear! That sucks! When I was in high school I was backing out and didn't realize how close I was, ripped off my side mirror on the garage. Oops! Then I tried to tell my parents it happened while I was at work. Yeah they weren't buying it, apparently they had heard the whole incident. Haha. Oh well!

Humm you think that's bad???

I learned how to drive on a stick shift, and after getting my DL I begged my mom to let me drive her automatic when we were going to the mall. Well, instead of reversing out of the garage I drove forward into my dad's workbench. My mom freaked out, and backed out the car with the door open... needless to say while I didn't do any damage to the car or the workbench, the car had about 3000 worth of work to be done, and it was totally my fault.

ALSO, about two weeks after getting my brand new Camaro, I took a turn too sharp and hit the wheel against the median. There's a pretty ugly scare on the wheel from it, and it breaks my heart.

On the brighter note, your pup is adorable, and your cute Mazda will survive!

Dings in cars are redic. Seriously. it was 90 effing bucks to get a door ding out on my passenger side. I did it bec well my car was barely a year old andsomeone pummeled it in the parking lot by getting out and banging into my car! How much is that gonna cost you to fix?

Love the pup through the screen picture!

Oh no! So sorry that happened, not a good way to start a day. :(

I ran into my friends basketball goal with my Dad's car - he was SO mad. Needless to say I wasn't trusted to drive that car very much after the fact...

OH Boy do I have a story very similar to this! Literally thought I was one of the few that make this dumb mistake hahaha in high school when it was like 6am and dark out I didn't pay attention if our garage door was open (95% of the time it was already) and I backed my car RIGHT THROUGH THE GARAGE DOOR! My Dad was NOT a happy camper hahah

oh no! well at least one of the cars is okay - better to fix one than two? :)

also, Brutie is adorable as always!

Too funny! I did the exact same thing the week of my wedding because I was stressed and not paying attention. Oh well, at least it isn't too bad!

I love little Brutie!

At least you remembered to open the garage door before you started backing out, right? :) I've heard of that happening to way too many people!

I'm sorry! What a bummer...if it makes you feel any better, I didn't hit my husband's car with my car, but I was driving his truck (which I CANNOT drive...it's too dang big) and I mis-judged how much space I had in between the truck and a dumpster in a parking lot. I actually had ZERO space...and put a huge gash in his paint. OOPS! It's a good thing they love us, right? :)

don't worry I think we've all had those moments. My blonde moment of the week was when I called up FedEx Kinkos and asked them if they had a color printer...yeah I dont know what I was thinking actually haha

Oh my gosh!! So sad. I ran into a pole once...that was fun (: Just tapped it and apparently a "tap" equals $800 in damage! Eek!
