As I mentioned yesterday, Derek and I went car shopping....for him! Believe me, he deserved a new car for sure! We actually bought the first car we test drove. His stipulations were leather seats and as much horsepower as possible for a sedan-typical man right =). My
only stipulation was that it was kid-friendly-typical woman thing right. He ended up with a 2009 Acura TL!!

Oh my god my heart is seriously breaking for you. I don't even know what to say. I lost my mom at a young age so I know what its like losing a parent, it NEVER seems real. I still can't believe she isn't here. If you NEED anything, just ask. I will be praying for you.

My heart breaks for you and your family. What a beautiful post in memory of your dad. I just know he's looking down, proud of his miracle baby...and he always will be. During all those moments you mentioned, he will be there. Believe me, I know it's not the same, but he truly is always with you now.

i know i cant leave a comment on your newest post... but i just had to tell you that im thinking of you, that post was absolutely beautiful and the love that you have for you father is so amazing.
I am so so so sorry for your loss. I don't know if it's too hard for you to receive sympathy comments and if it is then I am sorry but it brought me to tears. I know it's a little weird to have a stranger cry for you but the story is just too moving and that last picture of you guys hugging just struck a cord in my heard. I really, really hope you are staying strong.

I totally understand why you took the comments off on your beautiful post about your father, but I wanted to say how touched I was reading it. A father/daughter relationship is irreplacable.
Katie just wanted you to know that you and your family are in my prayers. I know you didn't want comments but your post really really moved me and made me take a look at my own relationship. Lets just say that post changed my life. Probably won't be able to explain but wanted you to know that. I'm sorry for your loss.
