Saturday:
1) Lounged by the pool for a couple of hours
2) Met Derek uptown Milford to try out a new restaurant…and of course had to stop by and get some cupcakes! The Smores cupcake was ahhmazing!
3) Went shopping all afternoon to find our new bedding!!! Our bed gets delivered on Thursday and I cannot wait to show you!
4) Went downtown to see our friends’ new apartment! This is the view from the rooftop of their apartment!
Sunday:
1) Went to The Home Depot to get supplies….supplies for what, you ask? Well we thought we would do a little painting in our bedroom before our new bed arrives! Ok, ok, ok, I cannot wait for the reveal either. Why don’t I give you a hint of what you will see next week……
2) {Venus Teal by Behr} Painted all Sunday afternoon…..ahem, I mean primed all Sunday afternoon. I was stuck painting all last night. But that’s only because we had something more fun to do Sunday evening!
3) Derek and I went over to Sarah and her husband’s house for a cookout! This food was exactly what was needed after working all afternoon! And let me tell you, the food was soooo good! Definitely go over to Sarah’s blog this week because she is going to be posting some recipes from her yummy food!
Well that was my weekend in a nutshell! I’m looking forward to doing some serious relaxing tonight!

Busy weekend! I kinda love and hate doing home projects at the same time. It can be kinda fun yet tedious all the same.

Tis the season for home improvements... we painted this weekend too, and Home Depot seems to be a constant weekend destination for us. :) Hope you are finding time to relax and recover!
