Saturday evening, Derek and I met up with some friends and had a super fun adventure. When we got in the cab to go to the bar and our cab driver asked where we were going. We replied Hofbrauhaus.
Our cab driver then said, "you're not going to Mardi Gras tonight?" Of course we were a bit confused and had no idea what he was talking about, BUT told him to take us there.
We ended up at a Mardi Gras street party in Kentucky. Besides the long lines, it was so much fun to go somewhere we have never been, at the spur of the moment.
Sunday- Derek and I had a long & fun shopping day! Maybe I'll share some of my finds this week!

I wish we had better Mardi gras parties around here! My mom is from Louisiana and I lived where there was mucho Mardi gras parties, so now I miss them! Looks like y'all had a fabulous weekend!
