Yesterday- I felt the earth quake.......NO, SERIOUSLY! The earthquake that happened in Virginia yesterday sent tremors throughout Ohio. I've never felt anything like it (considering I've always been a midwest girl). I first thought I was going to pass out- and then the ceiling and doors started shaking....CARAZY!
We FINALLY set a date for our housewarming party. That means Derek and I can be motivated again to finish this house (as far as painting, decorating, etc. goes)!
Seriously, how adorable is this family?!? That is my sister, brother-in-law, nephew, and niece! Those kids are just precious! Oh- and I totally feel like my sister and I are looking so much alike these days.....
I finally ordered this table runner for our dinning room. I'm so excited to get in the mail! Question for all of you.....I think I should do white placemats, but my soon-to-be dishes are white....any thoughts?
We watched The Adjustment Bureau and Source Code over the past couple days and I was a bit disappointed with both....
Finally, I always forget to thank all of you for your sweet comments and emails!!! I seriously enjoy hearing from all of you!

LOVE the table runner!!!! I'd go for a placemat that has a color that will pop or be bold! Glad you're okay after the earthquake...that is crazy!!! I can't even imagine what it feels like!

LOVE the table runner! With white dishes however, I'd pick a color that really pops for the placemats. Maybe something with yellow? I like the flowers they have paired with it in the picture.

I really like that rug, it's super cute! And I LOVE the table runner, I think chevron is adorable and modern...as for the place mats, have you thought about bringing in another color because I think that would nicely contrast with the white dishes...I think and navy blue or a yellow like the flowers in the example photo would look perfect, or you could even do something like fun bright green...can't wait to see what you choose and congrats on the housewarming party! :)

That earthquake scared me! I'm about 90 miles away from the epicenter and it shook my world!
