Never mind the nonish-window treatments pictured in the window. I have yet to convince my husband that windows also need a bit of accessorizing.
No Christmas presents under our tree yet!!!
We have gone pretty minimal on our outside lights this first year. Instead we opted to focus on the front door.
Maybe next year we will go a little more crazy with christmas lights outside. My absolute favorite is the old-school big bulb colored lights on the house. There is not a house with these lights in our development, so maybe I can convince Derek to do this next year for us!

Your tree is beautiful! I love white lights on a christmas tree but we did multi-colored this year.
And I like the idea of keeping it simple! The two plants on your porch look good!

i love your tree! so pretty! i wish we had a bay window ... i just love when i can see a Christmas tree or lit up from the outside, love that!
we bought tons of lights last year on clearance for this year. we loan our ladder to one of hubby's friends and let's just say the ladder was misplaced. how do you lose a freaking ladder? so because of that we haven't put up our lights yet. i am so bummed but hubby promised we'll do it this weekend and get a new ladder.
p.s. i want to do white lights on our tree next year :)

I'm a fan of lights outside that aren't LED, I hate them, especially the colored for whatever reason. I prefer the older ones.

As for outside lights, we did your standard icicles on the house. In the tree I found these really cool light up balls that kind of look like giant ornaments. I love them!
We had the old school colored bulbs forever! Just 3 years ago we upgraded to the Icicles.

We got our tree at the Front Gate outlet last year! Such great deals on such beautiful trees!
