Viva Las Vegas!

Back to the recapping!  You can read parts 1 and 2 just in case you missed any of the fun.

So we are now at Night 2.  After editing all the pictures, I have to say, Night 2 was a long one!  So bear with me ladies….

First, we went to Derek and I’s first Cirque du Soleil show, “O”!

Total side note- so, the Electric Daisy Carnival was going on at the same time that we were in Vegas.  This is a techno concert that literally brings 200,000-300,000 people in attendance!  So needless to say, with the extra hundreds of thousands of people in Vegas, there were no cabs available at night!  Zeroooooo

So….my brother finagled his way into getting us a “private driver”.  This ride was the CRAZIEST ride I’ve ever experienced.  The strip was of course insane due to all these Daisy Carnival goers…and the only way into the Bellagio is via the Strip.  Oh, and not to mention, we were running late to the show.  Anyway, our driver got us to the Bellagio with 5 minutes to spare before the 10:00 showing….and honestly, I can’t even tell you how he did it….the way he ran lights, weaved in and out of traffic, etc. etc. We were amazed : )

Lissa and I excited we made it alive before the show started!!

With all the casino lights…some of my pictures came out weird…hence, the black and white pictures you will see!

Of course you couldn’t take any pictures during the show, so I thought I would use Google Images to share some of the amazing parts of the show

Like I said, we haven’t seen one before, but it was toooo cool!  I didn’t know where to look because there were so many things going on!  Honestly, I’m still not quite sure of the story line, but I loved the show!

In fact, Derek and I were in the front row.

During one of the scenes, one of the main characters gives a flower to an audience member…and that was me!

After, the show, we went to piano bar at the Paris Hotel

First stopping to get a picture!

Another fun thing that happened that night… I somehow ended up on stage at the piano bar (err…my sister-in-law cough cough)!

This amazing piano man had all the guys in this bar singing “You’ve lost that lovin’ feeling”…seriously, what girl wouldn’t want that song sung to her!  AND, I found out that he went to Ohio State!  Whaatttt….Go Bucks!

After the piano bar closed (I know…things are starting to get ridiculous!)  We headed to the Palms to check out a little club called Rain!  If any of you watched the original Real World cast on MTV, then you know what I’m talking about!

Even though it’s way late in the morning, we still have to wait for a cab!  So we have some fun waiting….

And a picture inside Rain…….

The boys were sooooo ready to go back to our hotel.  Lissa and I on the other hand were ready to go to the next place.  Unfortunately, the guys won considering the time.  We probably should have thanked them for this!

I have one more post recapping our last day for you!  It was just as exciting and I can’t wait to tell you why I had on these beauties…..
