YA.RIGHT! Totally just pulling your leg on that. I decided to forgo blogging last week and watch Lifetime movies every night. And this my friends, I am not joking about. Lifetime movies are no joke. In fact, pretty much every single one of them scares the crap out of me.
Anyway, I'm back for a little weekend recap.
So, we took a break from house decorating about 6 months ago in preparation for Italy. NOW we are back full force. First, I added a little Thanksgiving picture that I printed from Pinterest. For all of you that are on Instagram, you know that I was a little skeptical about this frame with our brick of our fireplace. But I've grown to love it so thanks for all of your comments!
Friday night we had our annual house party. You can read about last years here, but I wouldn't go check it out if I were you because I only took a picture of the keg. However, I was much better this year with the photos! We had a super great group of friends come and had such a great night!! The party lasted into the early hours of Saturday morning.
Family picture!
We went and saw Argo today. Not at all what I thought it would be! But it was definitely entertaining and kept me on the edge of my seat.
Hope you had a great weekend!

I agree that it needs to be spaced out just a bit more.... That's a husband for ya! ;)
LOVE the photo! I agree with artwork being that of your pictures. It could be spaced out a tad bit more, but it still works!!!! I'm jealous you went to Italy!!!
I have a new spin off pregnancy/mommy blog and would love for you to stop by and follow! :)

what a cute pup! looks like a fun weekend xox
I love me some Lifetime movies but they scare me too haha. Love your mantle decor!
I love the canvas wall art! I have no design skill so I won't comment on the spacing (looks great to me!), but I'm a firm believer in letting the lady have what she wants in the home :)
What are lifetime movies? I cannot watch scary movies as they seem to haunt me forever. Personal artwork/photos are the best! I've always wanted to enlarge and black/white our trip photos for the living room. So much more sentimental!
Love how your triptych turned out! I bought a groupon from them too and haven't used it yet... waiting until I have the right photo! Maybe I need to go to Italy too ;-)
I love that picture...so fun to use real pictures in your home! But I agree with you on the spacing...the wife is always right when it comes to decor. Haha.
You guys are too cute! Love the one with the pup :)
ps. I need to make your frame with chevrons! Love that!
that italy photo is to die for! and that opening paragraph is hilarious by the way!!
The Italy picture is AMAZING! What a fabulous idea about the canvas.. I think I really want to do this for Christmas so what an awesome suggestion!

I love, love, love your Thanksgiving decorations. We actually have those same pumpkins on our mantle. And can I please shop your closet??
Loveee that picture, it's gorgeous!
The picture is gorgeous...I'm definitely getting something like this for Christmas?! loved your Mexico trip...
i feel like i've been away for so long! i'm not sure why i didn't realize you've been blogging all along!
i'm glad to catch up, haha.
And Argo, i absolutely loved, loved, loved it! not at all what i thought it was going to be but i feel that i need to own it when it comes out on DVD!
I really love your mantle frame (the way you change it for holidays, etc)-- I know I'm a little behind in posts but it's because I just found your blog today.. what a neat idea. It makes me wish we had a fireplace/mantle. We live in a studio apt (for now-- until we move from sunny Pensacola, FL to cold, snowy Alaska *did I mention I've never seen snow*).. so I don't know where I would put such a cute decoration..... Ideas??
