What We’re Loving

I thought I would share a few things that Charlotte and I are loving lately….
One: Security blanket with doll- This is Charlotte’s first little dolly and she loves it.  She reaches for it now and will just stare at it.  Too cute!  And it gets me so excited to think about all the barbies and dolls to come in our future!

Two: House of Cards Season Two- So, so, SO sad this season is over for us.  This was hands down THE best season ever of series on Netflix.  We could not stop watching it #bingewatching

Three: A+D- Only a diaper rash prevention cream would be on a new mommy’s what I’m loving post.  Luckily we have been good to go in the diaper rash department; however, little Charlie had a yeast infection.  This cream may smell like the elderly (seriously, our hospitals use this stuff for prevention of bed sores), but it is the bomb!

Four: L’Oreal Voluminous mascara- After hearing about this from Nancy J, I was super excited to try it.  You see, I’m a pretty big mascara snob.  I have never found a drugstore mascara that I remotely liked.  However, I have to say that I’m super surprised with how much I love this stuff.  Definitely will be my every day go to!

Five: Samoas- So, this isn’t an official what I’m loving right-now-kind-of-a-thing because we do not have any YET.  But the girl scouts will be at our local grocery store starting Monday.  And you better believe I’ll be there buying every a box they have a box or two of Samoas!

Six: Rockabye Baby! Journey- We quite frequently listen to the Baby Einstein Pandora station in our house.  Music time happens every single night from 6:30-7:15 so this station helps us switch it up a bit.  Anyway, when a song from Rockabye Baby! Aerosmith came on the station, I immediately googled the brand.  Turns out there are all sorts of bands.  I bought the Michael Jackson CD which is pretty good.  BUT, the Journey one is amazing.  And how cool is it that Charlotte will be able to recognize Journey songs when she is a couple years old :)

Seven: Lavender Vanilla Sugar Scrub from B&BW- Confession, I’ve never exfoliated before.  I KNOW, how is this possible?!  Anyway, I feel in love with this line when I bought the bubble bath.  I thought it could be a good idea to try the sugar scrub and now I’m hooked.  I can already see so many benefits from exfoliation!

Eight: Quack Quack- Lastly, we have been reading a ton around here these days. Charlotte loves when we read to her.  I’ve been loving this book and I think it will be even better once she gets older to feel the different textures throughout the book.

I’m loving that our Christmas décor is now up!  Yay!  Doesn’t Christmas decorations just make everybody happy?





I’m loving Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble”!!!!  Seriously can’t stop listening to this song!

I’m loving the Michael Kors’ original perfume.  Such an amazing scent that lasts for so long.

I’m loving that Derek works this weekend and I’ll actually be home!!!  For the past couple of months, I have been spending time with family and friends on the weekends that Derek works.  It’s been a lot of fun; but, I’m really looking forward to doing some organization projects throughout the house.


I’m loving next week I’ll officially start my link-up.  Tuesday…mark it on your calendar!



I’m loving the Redhead series.  The series has definitely made its way to my favorite book list!  These books are a great chick lit read.  I read a rumor that a third book is in the works!




I’m loving being back home with our Brutus!  We missed him and all his craziness!

What I’m Loving Wednesday!

This week is flying by for me…what about you?  I haven’t updated what’s been going on in my life lately, so I thought I would do a What I’m loving Wednesday.  Be sure to link up here.

So, with all of the wine that we brought back from Italy, we needed to purchase a wine rack.  We really wanted something rustic.  After searching everywhere, I actually found the winner on Etsy.  It is reclaimed wood from an old barn in Michigan.  What do you think?  We love it!

 

 

 

I’m loving my girls weekend I had with my best friend, Kristin, in Columbus!  OSU had a close win over Purdue (whoofta!).  And we had a great time out on the town in the Short North area.

I’m loving that the best cupcake place {ever} is closer to my house!!  I’ve tried Abby Girl Sweets once when it was located downtown with some crazy limited hours.  Now it is located much closer (with better hours) because seriously, they are the best I’ve ever had!

I’m loving that my work asked me to attend the Bengals game last Sunday night.  It’s the first year that my organization has a suite so of course I was like “duh, I’ll attend!”

I’m loving these shoes that I purchased last week from Baker’s.  I don’t know about you, but I’m loving the spikes this season!

What I’m Loving Wednesday!

I don’t know about you, but I’m alllll mixed up on my days this week!  All because of the 3 day weekend…not that I’m complaining or anything.

I’m Loving Project Runway Season 10!  Thank goodness for my DVR because I didn’t even know this season was starting.  Who’s your favorite?  I love the nickname, The Silk Chiffonsy’s (sp?).  Too funny!

 I’m Loving that we went to The Ohio State game on Saturday!!  It felt soooo good to be back in that stadium.  We were 3 rows up from the field and actually made it on the big screen!  That was a first for me!

 I’m Loving my dress that I have for a wedding on Saturday.  That’s a sneak peak…I’ll be sure to take some photos for you ladies!

I’m Loving 21 Jump Street.  I know we are a little late to this game, but we finally watched it last night and it.was.so.funny!  I haven’t laughed that hard at a movie in a long time

I’m Loving I have a couple of craft projects to complete these next couple of weeks. I’ll be showing you my final product of course!

I’m Loving this leopard infinity scarf that I purchased from Old Navy!  I’ve yet to receive it…but, can’t wait to wear it this fall!

What I’m Loving Wednesday

SO, I haven’t gotten a chance to get to my weekend recap yet….but I thought I would do a What I’m Loving Wednesday for ya!  You can link up here!

The new CD by Zac Brown Band…..seriously sooooo good!  My favorite song is Day That I Die.  I may have listened to this song on repeat for two whole hours.  Ok, so I did.  It’s that good!

Derek got me this Tory Burch, mustard yellow, cuff that I’m now obsessed with!  Such a great surprise!

I’m loving that this is my birthday WEEK!  My official birthday is Saturday and you better believe I’ve been celebrating all week!

Burberry Brit!  So, I’ve always heard amazing stuff about this perfume, but I finally got a small bottle of it yesterday and I’m in love!  It smells sooooo.goooooood!!

My Ray-Ban sunglasses that my husband helped me pick out!  I’ve been wanting a new pair of sunglasses for a while and I think they will perfect!

These beautiful roses that my Mom got me for my birthday.  Serious most beautiful roses I have.ever.seen!!!

My outfit from this weekend.  You know how it feels to feel put together….well that’s how I felt this Saturday when I attended a wedding with some friends!  More to come on that!

So, since it’s my birthday this weekend, Derek is planning a trip for us!  That’s right….he planned the.entire.thing!  I mean, I know where we are going, but that is it!  AND, I’m going to leave you lovely bloggers in the dark until I get back next week!  I cannot wait!  Let me give you hint….it is somewhere that we have never been!

I’m going to a wine tasting tomorrow with Sarah and Emily and I cannot wait!  I’m looking forward to catching up with these ladies and hoping that the weather will cooperate!

What I’m Loving Wednesday!

I’m so excited to go to Homearama this week with Derek!  It’s something we do every year and I cannot wait!  We are keeping our eyes peeled for master bedroom ideas because we are going shopping this weekend for our new bed!

Ok, so this isn’t exactly the bag that I purchased at the Tory Burch outlet in Las Vegas…but it’s pretty close!  Anyway, I’m LOVING this bag!  It is very versatile…it can be a cross-body bag or regular purse.

Ok, now, WILW is taking a serious focus….all about nails!

I picked up this Essie nail polish from Walgreens last weekend….and I’m in LOVE!  The name is turquoise and caicos.  May be wearing it all summer long!

I’ve used this Qtica nail strengthener for a couple weeks now, and it’s the BEST one I’ve ever used!!  Along with the Solar Oil I mentioned last week, my nails are in the best condition!

Seche Vite top coat nail polish.  This polish gives a great shiny & thick top coat!
