Weekend Recap

Hello there!  So, thanks so much for taking the survey.  I put it along my sidebar in case you did not get a chance to vote.  It’s always helpful to know what you like to read over here on Married…With a Pup!  Also, I finally created a blog button.  Feel free to take away!  Lastly, I decided to start the peaks, pits, praises, and prayers link up next week since this week is a holiday week.  Make sure to watch out for that!

Out of the results, everyday life/weekend recaps were the most popular.  I honestly have shied away from the weekend recaps because I didn’t know if they were that interesting to you.  But, it’s back!

Friday:

I got my hair did.  Let’s just say it was an overwhelming experience.  I went in with this picture:

Erin Andrews’ (gorgeous, I know!) dirty blonde hair was on my mind.  And I wanted something exactly like it.  Except…that’s not what happened!  Let’s just say my hair turned out this weird brown and I had a freakout.  I tried to take a couple of photos of my hair to share on Instagram and chickened out!

Saturday

My mom and I attended the greater Cincinnati Holiday Market.  It’s a big craft fair that we go to yearly to stock up on Christmas gifts.  In fact, she may have bought this for me for Christmas.  It’s a little Brutie Man!

Saturday night, Derek and I enjoyed some goodies from the said craft fair with Sarah and her husband while watching the big UFC fight.

Sunday

I drove to Columbus to go bridesmaid dress shopping with my best friend Jen, who is getting married in May!  They are having a country themed wedding on the groom’s grandparents farm.  She is doing the coolest thing ever…instead of buying the typical bridesmaid dresses, she is going shopping with each girl and picking out a specific dress.  All the dresses will be completely different but similar color and material.  She is going with lace dresses in the ivory/blush category.  It was my turn this weekend to go looking with her and we found the best dress ever!  I absolutely love it!

We actually found it on the clearance rack at Macy’s.  Adorable, right?

Anyway, it’s about 4 hour round trip drive for me, so I bought some new tunes to listen to on the way.  Enter the best album ever

Haha, ok maybe not best album ever.  But, I actually really like all the songs!

Hope you had a great weekend!

I've been really impressed with Taylor Swift's new CD too. Usually her music bothers me but there are some great songs on this one. And I LOVE your bridesmaid dress!

The back of that dress is gorgeous! And hooray for dirty blondes :) I just went to dark brown, but I envy everyone with the blonde hair I once had. Ha ha.

Aw you were in Cbus!! Wish I had known and I would have come and met up with you ladies for a bit! love the dress and what a fun/neat idea to go dress shopping with the girls separate! Get some good bride/bridesmaid time and ensures you guys don't get the same dresses. Love it!

That dress is so pretty! I've always coloured my hair blonde since I was about sixteen than last fall I stopped. Did your hair go kinda of greenish or grey?
